Review

It’s my first purchase from Imam Carpets and I’m happy that I found a very reputable and genuine place to shop online without a fear of being cheated in terms of quality.

The Story Behind the Braided Hand Woven Jute Rug

Jute is grown as a yearly crop and cut within a few months of sowing, then retted, stripped and dried before it is spun. For an oval, the braid is coiled around a short straight centre instead of a point, so the rug grows long instead of round. This oval jute rug has an ivory centre inside a wide coral border, finished with small coral tassels around the edge. It suits an entrance, a bedside or a kitchen.
