Review

It’s my first purchase from Imam Carpets and I’m happy that I found a very reputable and genuine place to shop online without a fear of being cheated in terms of quality.

The Story Behind the Loop Pile Hand Woven Jute Rug

Before it reached the floor, jute was the fibre of rope, sacking and hessian, spun in mills and shipped around the world in the 1800s. It combines the two ways of working jute: flat-woven bands and braided bands, so plain and textured rows sit side by side. This jute rug alternates bands of natural jute with bands of small ivory diamonds woven into the surface. It suits a bedside, a study or the space under a coffee table.
